PHOTOS: Ty Segall, Mikal Cronin in Providence, RI (04.19.25)
Last night in Providence, Ty Segall and opener Mikal Cronin played at Fete Music Hall. Segall is currently on a solo acoustic tour, with a new album, Possession set to release on May 30th, 2025. Contrary to Segall’s usual scene, the atmosphere at Fete was eclectic and dream-like, with both acts putting the audience in a trance through their music. That being said, the show was still very interactive, especially when Segall mentioned that he “forgot” his drummer, and asked the audience to drum for him. Considering it had been almost a year since the rocker had played in New England, the show was well received by the devoted fans who made the trip out last night.
