New England, and more specifically Boston are a second home to artists coming to the US from Ireland. As we recently saw with Dermot Kennedy’s Misneach Festival, Irish artists are celebrated and welcomed in Boston, due largely to the city’s strong connection to Ireland and many residents of Irish heritage. Singer-songwriter Darren Kiely is latest of those artists to resonate with the Boston audience, he recently visited the area and after selling out one show, had to add a second due to high demand. We were on hand for the second of Kiely’s two shows, you can check out images from his set, as well as support act Sydney Ross Mitchell below.
