Indie pop singer-songwriter Anna Shoemaker is an artist you need to know now. Her top two songs on Spotify, “If You’re Going (I’ll Go)” (3 mil streams) and “Holly” (5.5 mil streams), have earned her praise from publications like People and Alt Press. She just put out her sophomore album, Someone Should Stop Her, in February and has joined Aussie pop singer Mallrat on a North American tour this spring. The album is a breakup record and is described as Shoemaker’s most personal album to date. The tour recently made a visit to New England by way of a stop in Boston; you can see some photos from Shoemaker’s set, along with Mallrat’s set, below.
