Boston-based band Joyride share new single “Cruise Control”
Boston-based indie rock outfit Joyride shared their latest single, “Cruise Control,” on Friday. Recorded at a DIY home studio in Boston, it is a classic surf rock track with reverb-driven riffs and a nostalgic hook.
“Cruise Control is about coasting through your first summer love — no map, no plan, just the feeling.” says vocalist Carson Pallad, he continues: “We wanted it to feel like driving down the highway that first night of summer when everything’s still and warm, and you’re suddenly aware of how much you like them.”
Joyride is made up of lead vocalist and lyricist Carson Pallad, who brings the stories, while drummer Nick Waitches-Eubanks, guitarist Nate Gariepy, and bassist Joe Cooney round out the band’s dynamic sound.
