Editor’s note: California by way of Brooklyn rockers Momma were back in New England last week promoting their new studio album, Welcome to My Blue Sky. The record is the band’s fourth full-length LP since forming in 2015. “This record came from a very formative time for us—there was a lot of change that felt so fun and exciting, but also a lot of instability and heartbreak,” said Allegra Weingarten in a prior interview regarding the album. Momma will join PIXIES on tour later this summer, where they’ll make a stop at MGM Music Hall on July 18th.
