Editor’s note: New York native Julia Wolf has been generating a ton of buzz this year around her sophomore album, Pressure. The album sees Wolf expanding on her earlier sound, getting heavier and grittier than on her debut LP. The single “In My Room” landed her on the Billboard charts for the first time, coming in at No. 40 on the Alternative Airplay list upon its debut. Late last month, she kicked off a 23-date North American tour, which stopped in New England last week, with a visit to Boston. Kelsey Lockhart was on hand on behalf of New England Sounds.
