Michael Angelakos, the brains behind indie pop project Passion Pit recently returned to the place where it all started, Boston, MA. Formed in 2007 in Cambridge, Passion Pit exploded as one of the most prominent New England based acts of the 2010’s. An album that reached No. 4 on Billboard 200, a headline show at Madison Square Garden and headline slow at Boston Calling in it’s City Hall Plaza days followed. In the later 10’s things quieted down for Angelakos who took a break from recording and lightened his touring schedule. Currently working on new music and a major comeback, Angelakos recently played four shows in Boston to preview some new tunes and presented some reworked versions of older material.
