Folk rock titans The Lumineers recently wrapped up a four show run in the New England area that culminated in a pair of shows at Fenway Park. Promoting their new album Automatic, the group also visited Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on the 13th and Maine Savings Amphitheater on the 15th. Released on Valentine’s Day, Automatic is their fifth studio album to date and first since since 2022. The two hour set featured twenty-six songs, featuring six from the new album, six from their self-titled debut, and songs from the rest of their career as well. The night also included a poignant tribute to frontman Wesley Schultz’ brother who passed away recently. Schultz and the band performed a cover of “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)” by the Talking Heads after Schultz shared some memories about his brother Sam. As lots of bands do, they also teased a short snippet of “Shippin’ Up to Boston” before their last song. The show was opened with performances from St. Vincent and Hippo Campus as well. Check out photos from The Lumineers’ set as well.
