PHOTOS: Back Cove Day One (cont.) – Lord Huron, Thee Sacred Souls, The Roots in Portland, ME (08.02.25)

Editor’s note: As day one rolled on and the crowd filled in, the action picked up even more. Hip hop group The Roots, who replaced Andre 3000 on the original lineup, were appearing in Maine for the first time 2018. Following them was soul trio Thee Sacred Souls, who put on display one of the weekend’s finest sets. Lord Huron was the Saturday headliner, bringing a stunning production that featured choreography and a theatre-like production that drew eyes from the entire festival grounds. Lord Huron are promoting their latest studio album The Cosmic Selector, Vol 1.
