PHOTOS: Chevelle, Asking Alexandria, Dead Poet Society in Boston, MA (08.24.25)
Alt-metal trio Chevelle just released their tenth studio album, Bright as Blasphemy, on August 15th. To promote the album, they’re currently on a North American headline tour. Over the weekend, that tour rolled into New England for the first of two area appearances. MGM Music Hall played host to Sunday’s show, which saw a near-capacity crowd worked up into a frenzy. From the opening song, there was an almost non-stop stream of crowd surfers coming over the barrier. Along for the ride as support acts on this tour are metalcore outfit Asking Alexandria and Boston natives Dead Poet Society, who began their journey as a band at Berklee back in 2013.
