PHOTOS: LaMP, Magnolia Boulevard in Marshfield, MA (08.30.25)
Last night in Marshfield, MA, Levitate Backyard hosted LaMP, a jazz trio made up of drummer Russ Lawton, organist Ray Paczkowski, and guitarist Scott Metzger, and openers Magnolia Boulevard, a soul-rock band from Kentucky. Magnolia Boulevard certainly broughta flavor of the South to New England, with lead singer Maggie Noelle’s stunning vocals piercing past the venue and into the nearby parking lots. Although LaMP is mainly an instrumental band, they had just as much might, power, and draw as their openers. The crowd was full of dancing and drinking in a true jazz/soul fashion. LaMP will return to New England twice in the fall, visiting Ripton, VT as part of the Snugfest 2025 lineup, and for a headline show at Park City Music Hall in Bridgeport, CT on December 12th.
