Arkansas-born singer-songwriter Waylon Wyatt played his first-ever New England headline show over the weekend. Earlier this year, Wyatt released his sophomore EP, Out of the Blue, via Music Soup/Darkroom Records. Wyatt is one of country music’s fastest rising stars at just 18 years old. His single “Arkansas Diamond” currently has over 86 million streams. Over the weekend, he played two sold-out shows at The Sinclair in Cambridge. Before the show, the line to get in stretched throughout Harvard Square. The show itself featured several improvised moments including two “Happy Birthday” sing-a-longs, two separate occurrences of inviting a fan onstage to sing, and an extended period of Wyatt signing various items from the crowd. Check out some stills from the show below.
