PHOTOS: Brit Floyd in Boston, MA + Wallingford, CT (03.06 – 03.07)

Editor’s note: Liverpool-based Pink Floyd tribute band Brit Floyd were back in the New England area earlier this month, for a number of shows as part of their The Moon, The Wall and Beyond Tour. This tour finds the band playing songs from Pink Floyd’s two most iconic albums, The Wall, and Dark Side of the Moon. Brit Floyd have become one of the premiere tribute bands in any genre during their 15 years of touring and have built up a loyal fan base of their own, many of whom came out early to the show for pre-show meet and greets and a soundcheck experience. During the Boston show, set one consisted mainly of songs from The Wall, with the backing of video footage, much of which was taken directly from past Pink Floyd performances. While set two, made up mostly of songs from Dark Side of the Moon brought out the laser show that is so commonly associated with the band. Mike Von Villas was on hand at both the Boston, MA and Wallingford, CT shows. Check out his images from the two nights below.
