PHOTOS: The Red Clay Strays, The Revivalists in Boston, MA (08.02.26)
Mobile, AL-based rock band The Red Clay Strays played the first arena headline show of their career right here in New England last weekend. They’re on tour promoting their recently released studio album, Grateful, the third record of their career. A gospel-influenced country rock record, Grateful debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Top Country Album charts. Grateful’s third single, “Demons in Your Choir” was the opening song for Saturday’s show as the band performed with the help of a trio of backup singers to bring the choir to life in a live setting. Supporting Red Clay on Saturday’s show was NOLA rock band The Revivalists, who are promoting a new album of their own, Get It Honest, released in late July.
