The Pretty Reckless brought their Dear God Tour to a sold-out Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on September 28th, with support from Paris Jackson. Jackson, who spent her early career carving out a quiet, more folk-leaning sound, has spent this year shedding that skin entirely. With the release of her sophomore album HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE, she’s leaned into the grunge, punk, and hard rock influences that shaped her, trading acoustic introspection for something louder and far more assured.
The Pretty Reckless closed out the night, and front woman Taylor Momsen commanded the stage with the same fearless swagger that’s defined the band since their earliest days. Touring behind Dear God, the band leaned into the record’s darker, more theatrical edges without losing the raw, blues-soaked grit that forms the foundation of their sound. Heavy riffs, gothic undertones, and Momsen’s unmistakable snarl filled the room, giving the crowd exactly what they came for.
