Editor’s note: Platinum-selling singer-songwriter Em Beihold visited New England last week as part of a North American headline tour to support her new album, Tales of a Failed Shapeshifter. Beihold currently has over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with the top song, a duet with Stephen Sanchez, surpassing 1 billion streams. Her initial breakthrough came in 2022 with the platinum single “Numb Little Bug,” which peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her current headline tour wraps up June 15th with a sold-out show at the legendary Troubador in Los Angeles. Alex Santos was on hand for last week’s Boston show.
