Noah Kahan inducted into Fenway Music Hall of Fame as The Great Divide goes Platinum
Noah Kahan’s global superstardom reached new heights this week as he celebrated a series of historic milestones amidst his sold-out four-show run at Fenway Park. His recently released No. 1 album, The Great Divide, has been certified Platinum by the RIAA. With its new RIAA Platinum certification, The Great Divide becomes the fastest Americana/Folk album of all time to achieve Platinum status, as well as being one of only two albums released this year to reach the milestone, joining Ella Langley’s Dandelion.
Kahan also made history as the first artist ever to headline four consecutive sold-out nights at Fenway Park. His four-show homestand concluded Saturday, following sold-out performances on July 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th, adding up to a total of 151,000 ticketed fans over the four nights, plus thousands more crowding the streets around Fenway to listen from outside. During last night’s final show, Fenway Park invited Noah’s mom, Lauri Berkenkamp, to surprise him with news of an official induction into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame. He becomes just the fourth artist ever to receive the honor, joining Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, and Zac Brown Band.
In recognition of Noah’s triumphant achievements and Kahan’s profound impact on New England, Massachusetts Govenor Marua Healey officially proclaimed July 11th, 2026, as “Noah Kahan Day” in Massachusetts. The honor also recognizes his commitment to mental health awareness and expanding access to mental health care through his non-profit, The Busyhead Project, which has raised nearly $7 million to date, especially in local communities across New England.
The Great Divide World Tour continues its completely sold-out run across North America before heading to Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., and Europe later this year. For dates, visit noahkahan.com/pages/tour.
