Baxter Hall releases new EP The Work – Listen Now
Today, Boston-based singer-songwriter Baxter Hall released his latest EP, The Work, a new four-song project that centers on family dynamics and breaks down the stigma of going no-contact with a parent.
Opening with its title track, The Work is Hall’s first release in nearly two years. It arrives just after he performs with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra as a featured soloist for their opening classical weekend, taking place September 11 to 13 at the famed Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville.
“The Work EP is really four different versions of the same story told from completely different emotional states. There’s anger, sadness, and even some passive aggressive humor, but the title track ‘The Work’ I felt encapsulated it all and enforces the theme of resolution and alchemy — which is ultimately what songwriting is all about for me.”
