Bozeman, Montana-based band Buffalo Traffic Jam played their largest headline show to date right here in New England last night, selling out the 3,500-capacity venue Roadrunner in Boston. Originally scheduled for the 1,500-capacity Royale downtown, the show was upgraded due to overwhelming demand. The band is made up of permanent members Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross, and expands to a five-piece outfit live. Cassidy and Ross began releasing music in 2024 while still attending Montana State University, and in two short years have become one of the hottest bands in the folk/country music scene. With over 4.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, they’re currently touring to promote their first full-length album, Pictures of You, that came out in July. Their current run of US dates wraps up on October 16th in Texas before they head to Australia and later return for more US dates from late November into December. Check out photos from the show below, including some from openers Haffway and Lydia Maes. Maes also plays in the Buffalo Traffic Jam live lineup and kicked off the show performing some of her own music.
