Gig Report: White Lies
Post-punk revivalists White Lies recently made their way to Middles East Downstairs where they rocked the night away with goth rock opener Vowws. White Lies – who’s peak popularity cam around 2009/2010 are back again with a new album titled “Friends” that captures their classic British sound. while has been a while since the band’s last trip stateside, their core fans still remain, many of the songs performed on the evening featured the crowd singing along to nearly every word.
