Editor’s note: Last Wednesday night, punk rock legends L7 were back in town promoting their recently released documentary “L7: Pretend We’re Dead” – The film comes after the band’s reunion in 2014. Originally, L7 existed from 1985-2001 and was widely considered amongst the best punk/metal/rock bands of their era. L7’s music was also hugely influential to dozen’s of today’s biggest names. Opening up for L7 on their current run is Los Angeles rockers Death Valley Girls who bring to the table a similar punk rock vibe with their sound as well.
