Boston Calling block parties return for 2019
Boston Calling’s popular Block Party Series returns to Dewey Square Park for 2019. Beginning May 16 and running through August 29, 2019, Every Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm there will be free outdoor weekly parties featuring live music and a wide array of beers.
The Block Party Series will showcase local music artists with the first three weeks featuring Bourbon Chasers, East Coast Soul, and Nonplussed. In addition to all of the great live music, attendees will be able to play various lawn games such as bean bag toss and kick back to enjoy a beer in an Adirondack chair. Boston Calling’s Block Party Series is in partnership with The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and is presented by Miller Lite. Each party will have a cash bar; fans must be 21+ to enter.
ParkDewey Square, part of the Rose Kennedy Greenway, is located at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue, Summer Street, Federal Street, Purchase Street, Surface Artery and Central Artery in Boston, Massachusetts. It is accessible via the city’s Red and Silver Lines as well as the Commuter Rail and Amtrak, at the South Station Stop.
