Editor’s note: When Glass Animals hit their stride on 2016’s How to Be a Human Being album, it looked like they were going to be one of the leading artists in the electronic indie movement. All was going well until July 2018 when the band’s drummer Joe Seaward was critically injured in a traffic accident, resulting in the band canceling their tour dates for the remainder of 2018 and all of 2019. So when the band announced their return for 2020, needless to say the reaction was overwhelming positive. So much so, that the intimate club tour they had booked to celebrate their return sold out all dates in a matter of minutes. One of the hottest tickets in town so far this year, Glass Animals swung by The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on Friday (February 28) for a packed to the gills show. Nathan Rocco was on hand at the Harvard Square venue capturing photos on behalf of New England Sounds. Scan through his shots below.
