PHOTOS: half•alive, Tessa Violet in Boston, MA (04.27.23)
Long Beach, CA trio half•alive have been on an upward trajectory ever since their 2021 support slot on twenty one pilots’ Takeover Tour that visited our region for four shows in Boston. They added to the momentum in 2022 with the release of their sophomore studio album Conditions of a Punk in December. Prior to the twenty one pilots tour they had put themselves on the map with 2018 single “Still Feel” that achieved Gold Record status. The song also peaked at No 7. on the US Alt Rock charts that year. This year they’ve put together an elaborate production for the Conditions of a Punk tour that visited Boston on Thursday night where the group enthralled and packed house at House of Blues. Pop songstress and TikTok star Tessa Violet got the opening slot and drew quite a few of her own followers to the show. Check out photos from both acts’ sets below.
