Editor’s note: South African folk troubadour Gregory Alan Isakov has been very kind to New England this year, visiting us for six shows Between late January and now. A memorable set at Newpork Folk Festival, as well as appearances in Vermont and Maine were sandwiched between GAI’s three Massachusetts shows. He’s been on the road all year supporting his latest studio album, Appaloosa Bones, his sixth overall record and first since 2018. Brianna Gately was on scene on Saturday night for Isakov’s latest visit to the region, check out her photos below.
