PHOTOS: The Beach Boys in Uncasville, CT (09.27.24)
Editor’s note: Few artists in the history of recorded music have influenced the art wold more than The Beach Boys. It’s impossible to overstate how important to the world of music they are. In the modern era, only singer Mike Love remains from the founding lineup that first took the stage over sixty years ago. Bruce Johnston, who joined the group in 1965 is also a member of the current touring party. Beyond that, the group touring under The Beach Boys moniker right now are all of a much younger generation. Still, The Beach Boys continue to play to hundreds of thousands of fans yearly often performing more than one hundred shows per year. This year alone they have performed nine concerts across the six New England states. Their most recent visit to the area was at Mohegan Sun this past weekend.
