PHOTOS: IDLES, English Teacher in Boston, MA (09.24.24)
Editor’s note: British punk rock outfit IDLES made their latest visit to New England last week, by way of a sold out show at Boston’s Roadrunner. The group have visited pretty consistently, coming through once a year every year other than 2020 since their first visit in 2018. Last year’s visit was one of particular interest as they were originally poised to play RE:SET Festival in June of 2023 but after the festival was rained out they decided to play at last minute, super intimate show at The Sinclair in Cambridge. The small show generated enormous demand for the group as a wide majority of fans were unable to get tickets to The Sinclair show. This time around, with a fresh album released earlier this year, IDLES opted to play the larger venue.
