Editor’s note: Georgia born singer-songwriter Tyler Hubbard – best known for his days as a member of the country pop duo Florida Georgia Line – was in Boston last week for a show at House of Blues. Since the group’s dissolution in 2022, Hubbard has released a pair of solo albums, a self-titled record last January, and Strong in April of this year. For the Boston show Hubbard played through a set of almost entirely solo material, with the exception of FGL’s signature tune “Cruise,” Jason Aldean’s “You Make It Easy” which Hubbard wrote, and Bebe Rexha’s “Meant to Be” which was cut with a Florida Georgia Line feature.
