LA-based singer-songwriter mehro began 2025 taking their music in a new, heavier direction with the rock guitar driven track “You’re So Pretty.” They first began experimenting with a heavier sound on the 2024 single “Lady Parts and Mannequins” after recording largely acoustic bedroom pop since first emerging on the scene in 2020. Born Sam Sturges, the artist legally changed their name to mehro (lower case) for artistic reasons. mehro will continue their tour in support of half•alive into early May. Also performing on the nigh was Long Beach, CA trio half•alive who are promoting their new album Persona, as well as Chicago indie pop darlings The Walters who put our their debut album in March.
