PHOTOS: Djo, Post Animal in Boston, MA (05.02.25)
Newburyport, MA-born actor Joe Keery was back home on Friday, touring with his music project, Djo. Last month, Keery put out his third studio album under the Djo moniker. The album, titled The Crux, debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard 200, Djo’s highest charting release to date. Several of Keery’s family members were attending the show, and he spoke multiple times about how good it felt to be back in New England. He paid tribute to Massachusetts with his wardrobe choice as well, sporting a Boston Red Sox hat and a vintage Aerosmith shirt. Opening the show was Post Animal, a group Keery was once a member of before leaving to focus on his acting career. Post Animal just announced their four studio album, IRON, due out July 25th. The album announcement came with a new single, “Last Goodbye,” that will be on the album. The group also recently announced a headline show of their own at Sinclair in Cambridge, MA this fall.
