Bronxville, NY based rocker SASAMI has made a career out of defying labels. A conservatory-trained classical French horn player, producer, and composer she blends pop, metal, and even a bit of Americana into her music. Having spent time touring with the likes of Haim, Mitski, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, she’s drawn inspiration from several places. Her most recent record, Blood On The Silver Screen, is a straight up pop record that follows her hard rock album Squeeze and indie rock self-titled debut LP. It also emphasizes her commitment to not being limited to a single genre. Since the release of her album she’s embarked on a North American tour that recently stopped in New England for a show in Boston.
