As the summer heats up in Boston, with the summer fully kicked off last weekend, there are shows after shows. And before it gets to that Warped Tour level sweatiness, two of the biggest Warped veterans are coming together to give a sold-out performance at the XFinity Center in Mansfield tomorrow. For the “Boston” date of the iconic tour, XFinity Center, Greatwoods, all its past incarnations, was the home base for the seventy or so bands that would careen around the country together. And tomorrow, two of its biggest names are coming back in the form of Pierce the Veil and Sleeping With Sirens, with Beach Weather opening up the night. The latter of the three is no stranger to Boston music lovers as well, with frontman Nick Santino being one of Boston’s own with his former project A Rocket To The Moon, as well as the roots of Beach Weather all going down in Boston. 

This isn’t the first time around for Pierce the Veil to take on the road with Sleeping With Sirens. Back in 2012 or so, I chatted with both bands the year that “King For A Day” had just come out, and the energy in the air made it so clear that both of these bands were about to kick off truly. While speaking with Kellin Quinn and his band, Quinn would every few minutes slam open the door of their bandwagon and yell out at the fans in line, “I’m doing an interview!! Shush!” to the roars of the crowd. Flash forward to when they toured together as well again, and took on the Tsongas Center in Lowell; it’s a winning formula. 

If anything can be told from the bands’ recent setlists for this run, while both bands touch on almost their whole catalogue, to fans’ content, PTV’s set rests heavily on their breakout album, Collide With The Sky“. And it’s the same for SWS, with a strong portion of their set coming off of Let’s Cheer To This. Although the show is sold out tomorrow, as it has been for the majority of these shows, if not all of them, there are still limited resale tickets available.

Pierce the Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, and Beach Weather play Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA on Friday May 30th. Doors are at 5pm with music beginning at 7pm. The event is sold out, but limited resale tickets are available – HERE.
