Sun Room share new single, “Oslo, Paris, LA” + announce North American tour dates including Boston stop

Next Gen SoCal rock band Sun Room shared their first-ever acoustic track today, “Oslo, Paris, LA,” and announced their North American Fall headline The Jacknife Tour with tickets available for purchase now. A fresh twist on the Sun Room sound, fans have been waiting for the release of the new song after a brief tease online and at their acoustic pre-show fan event ahead of back-to-back, sold-out nights at Los Angeles’ iconic Troubadour earlier this year.
“For this song and tour announcement, we decided to drop them both at once – no endless lead-up, no million posts – just giving it immediately to the fans how we’ve always wanted to do it,” says frontman Luke Asgian. “Coming into the industry from the outside is weird. You’re used to doing everything yourself on your own terms and then suddenly there are all these ‘rules.’ It starts to feel like there are a million steps and a hundred people to go through when it used to be as simple as: ‘Should we release this next week?’ ‘Cool.’ ‘Wanna play a show in two days?’ ‘Sure.’ When we record, we mostly do it live. It feels real. We leave the little mess-ups in. We like the chaos and unpredictability. So while this isn’t exactly the same, it’s a huge relief for us – and probably the fans too – that we didn’t have to beg for pre-saves for four months just to put the song out and put a tour on sale.”
Kicking off September 26 in Houston, Sun Room’s 24-date headline tour will visit the United States and Canada stopping in Denver, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Cambridge, New York, Charlotte, Charleston, Jacksonville, Atlanta and more before concluding November 8 in Nashville.
The local date will take place at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on October 23rd, tickets for that show are now available HERE.
