Hot Gig Alert (07.26): Drew and Ellie Holcomb visit Portland, ME without their neighbors
Drew and Ellie Holcomb are back with their first album as a duo, Memory Bank, released in January of this year. Having been a band for 20 years, the album sees the pair in a new light, highlighting a rich Southern sound that combines elements from Drew’s The Neighbors and Ellie’s solo career in harmony.
Hitting New England for a brief summer tour, they’re taking their children on the road in an RV to put “Some money in the memory bank” by going on adventures and playing some shows while they’re at it. The tour takes them to Newport, RI; Portsmouth, NH; and Portland, ME, at the Jane Pickens Theatre, The Music Hall, and State Theatre, respectively.
