PHOTOS: Couch Crash, Caramia Pozzi in Worcester, MA (07.18.25)
If you are well-versed in the local DIY band culture, you probably know them, and if not, Couch Crash might be the best band you’re waiting to hear of. The emo-alt-rock trio from Maynard, Massachusetts— Thayer (guitar/vocals), Owen (bass/vocals), and Joey (drums) — have been making music together since they were kids, and it shows at their gigs. These three guys not only have great chemistry together on stage, but they have the talent to back it up. Their songs are raw, hardcore, and angsty, to the point that it’s almost rage-inducing. Last night at The Raven, they took the stage with songs like “Waste,” “Headaches&Headway,” and “Smoke/Stars'” all of which came out last year on their EP, Crowe Park.
