Sadness & Failure Fest, a celebration of The Acacia Strain’s 40th Palladium show and brought to you by the minds behind New England Metal & Hardcore fest, descended over the Worcester Palladium on Saturday. The day started early at 4:30 PM and didn’t let up for over 6 hours. Festival attendees lined up early to be able to catch a spot in the upstairs room for the first band, Gigan Animal Thugs, and proceeded to spend the rest of the day running up and down the palladium stairs if they hoped to catch a glimpse of every artist. By the time Haywire headlined the upstairs, the room was so full that people gathered on the stairs outside the doors and the landing below. The downstairs stage filled out early on in the day as well, with security working hard to pull all the crowd surfers safely over the barricade. The Acacia Strain fans are counting down the days until October 24, for the release of the band’s 12th album You Are Safe From God Here. You can listen to the first two singles, “HOLY MOONLIGHT” and “A CALL BEYOND” now.

Pre-order The Acacia Strain’s upcoming album You Are Safe From God HereHERE.
