Widespread Panic have been popular in the jam-band since 1986 when they first formed. Though they have had numerous lineup changes, they have always remained steadfast in their pursuit of a trademark sound. The band is beloved by their fans, and have amassed quite the cult following in their nearly four decades of performing together. That was clear at the show last night, where fans lined up outside for hours beforehand and came together inside to dance and drink in the music. Everyone was so friendly from fans to staff and they were all so passionate about Panic; some of the people I spoke with had seen them as many as 30 times. Several even talked to me about how they traveled across the country for the show. The night was truly an incredible experience for fans and the band alike as they performed two sets and an encore without any other supporting acts. They will be performing for two more nights in Boston, check it out if you’re looking for musical fun and good vibes.
