British-Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Maltese provided the perfect Sunday night soundtrack with his dulcet piano tunes in Boston this past weekend. Maltese is on tour in support of his record, Hers, released in May of this year. The record is his sixth album to date, and his fifth to feature original songs. Last year he released a covers album, Songs That Aren’t Mine, featuring collabs with Dora Jar and Liana Flores. In 2023, Maltese launched its own record label, Last Recordings on Earth. Along with Maltese on this tour is London-born singer Cornelia Murr, who has an album of her own to promote, Run to the Center, released in February. The two will perform together in New England again tonight, when they take the stage at Toad’s Place in New Haven. Tickets for that show are still available HERE.
