LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: Evanescence in Mansfield, MA (06.21.26)

Evanescence brought Mansfield, MA to life on Sunday night with a performance that left little room for doubt that this band is firing on all cylinders. At the Xfinity Center on June 21st, Amy Lee and company delivered a career-spanning set that felt like a celebration of their two decades of anthems, while also making a bold declaration of where they’re headed next.

Support from Nova Twins and Spiritbox set an appropriately powerful tone before the headliners took the stage. The moment the lights dimmed for Evanescence, the night shifted into another gear entirely. Amy Lee’s voice was as powerful and precise as ever, filling the venue with the kind of presence that reminds you why she’s one of rock’s greatest singers.

Visually, the show was a statement. Rising platforms lifted drummer Will Hunt and guitarists Troy McLawhorn and Tim McCord above the stage, enabling the performance to perfectly match the depth and grandeur of the music itself. Emma Anzai was a welcome presence with beautiful harmonies that complemented Lee in all the right moments. From the gothic weight of their early material to the heavier, more urgent energy of Sanctuary, the set never lost its momentum. Evanescence proved that they are not a band resting on their legacy… they’re building on it.
