American singer-songwriter Melanie Martinez just wrapped up the North American leg of her 2026 World Tour to promote her new album, Hades, a concept album that came out in March. The tour, dubbed Hades: The Sacrifice, is a live presentation of the album with the setlist consisting solely of the songs on Hades. Extensive visually elements (props, dancers, pyrotechnics) are all part of the live production giving the tour a Broadway-like feel to it. At the Boston date of the tour, the lone New England stop, Martinez’ touring party was delayed getting to the arena resulting in an hour plus delay to doors and forcing the cancellation of the opening act.Despite that, Martinez was able to play her entire set for the Boston crowd.
