Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar, fresh off winning two of Canada’s prestigious Juno Awards, is back on the road this summer even after breaking his ankle in two places late last year. In March, Caesar took home Juno Awards for Songwriter of the Year and Contemporary R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for his new album Son of Spergy. The album debuted at No 8. in Canada and No 4. here in the US. The album features collaborations with artists such as Bon Iver and Blood Orange. Rex Orange County also worked as a producer on it. The North American leg of Daniel Caesar’s tour kicked off in July and runs through the end of this month before Caesar will head over to Europe to continue.
