English sensations Glass Animals are back in the US in the midst of a four month long tour in support of their 2016 album “How to Be a Human Being.” The album, which was released in August of 2016, peaked at number 20 on the Billboard 200. The band’s popularity in the United States has ballooned since the album’s release, boosting them to arena level success. On Saturday night the band played at Boston University’s Agganis Arena. Speaking with Billboard about Glass Animals’ live show frontman Dave Bayley conveyed: “With a headline show, we can get an idea of what the crowd is feeling by watching the opening band. If they look like they’re up for a dance, we can extend our track and give them something a bit groovy. And if they are feeling a bit more chill, we’ll give them something else.”  The song “Pork Soda” which was released as the fourth singe from the new album, climbed all the way to number 33 on the US Alternative Songs chart, and has racked up over 13 million streams on the popular platform Spotify. Over the course of 2017 Glass Animals have appeared at several major US festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza.
