PHOTOS: Sylvan Esso in Boston, MA (11.13.21)
Editor’s note: Cambridge, MA native Amelia Meath who makes up 1/2 of the duo Sylvan Esso was back in the New England area over the weekend. Meath and her husband/bandmate Nick Sanborn met when she asked Sanborn to remix a track for her other band, Vermont trio Mountain Man. Since then they have released three albums, all of which landed in the Billboard 200. The latest of those albums, Free Love, came out last year during the pandemic. Sylvan Esso’s greatest strength however is their live show, it has landed them on the lineups of some of the world’s biggest festivals. Over the weekend they played two shows at House of Blues in Boston, the first of which on Saturday night was a sold out show. We were on hand for the show and have some vibrant images to prove it, check them out below.
