Canadian pop punk four-piece Simple Plan, like bands in their genre, have experienced a huge resurgence in recent years. The Warped Tour revival era has put them on some of the largest US stages they’ve played to date, including in Boston, where they headlined the 5,007 capacity MGM Music Hall, their largest show ever in Boston proper. Often opting to visit Mansfield or Worcester, they were performing in the Hub for the first time since 2017. Although their last studio album, Harder Than It Looks, was released in 2022, they are touring with a career-spanning retrospective, as well as promoting their recently released documentary, Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd.
