Marking their highest debut on the UK album charts at #5, British rock mavericks Enter Shikari have delivered their most critically-acclaimed and genre-bursting album, The Spark In the U.S., it debuted at #22 on Billboard’s Current Alternative Album Chart.

Enter Shikari launched their North American campaign with a sold-out show at NYC’s Rough Trade on Saturday, September 30th and intimate, acoustic performances with Paste and Billboard (the band plays Hard Luck in Toronto, ON tonight). On the heels of this surge, the band has announced their North American tour in support of the album. Kicking off on January 19, 2018 at Austin’s The Mohawk, the tour will circle around the continent including shows in Orlando, DC, Brooklyn, and Toronto. The tour makes it’s lone New England stop on January 30th at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 6 at 12:00pm Local Time. (full tour dates below).

Enter Shikari “Rabble Rouser”

Their most personal and musically expansive album to date, The Spark, has been lauded on both sides of the Atlantic, with Alternative Press calling it “anthemic and authentic” and NME citing this as “Rou’s tempestuous tribute to a world on fire.” Produced by David Kosten (Everything Everything, Bat For Lashes), the album continues to surprise and excite the media, with Punktastic proclaiming “There’s no other band quite like Enter Shikari.”

Born from a volatile combination of a world spinning on its axis due to Brexit, Trump, and terrorism along with a more personalized trauma of panic attacks and self-medicating, The Spark dives deeper into the exploration of social issues that has been Enter Shikari’s lifeblood for nearly a decade now and giving it a much more personal angle. The Spark is a soundtrack to our tumultuous world, a record for everyone who’s filled with frustration but hasn’t lost the capacity for hope.
