Editor’s note: Massachusetts-raised singer-songwriter Aoife O’Donovan performed at the visually pleasing Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, MA last Thursday evening. O’Donovan is coming off a massive 2020 that saw her take home a Grammy Award for her work with the group I’m With Her. She has gained recognition over the last few years as a rising star in the folk music world, drawing comparisons to the legendary Joni Mitchell. Often performing with notable string groups such as the Boston Pops Orchestra, the Kansas City Symphony, the National Symphony Orchestra, the Louisville Orchestra, and others.
