Note: Some people may chuckle when they reminisce about 90s pop music and/or hear the name “Hanson” when talking about the teenage pop-rock sensation of the mid 90s. Most known for their hit “MMM Bop” they had plenty of other songs in their repertoire that kept the crowd going strong. The brothers Hanson, Isaac, Taylor and Zac are celebrating a 25th anniversary tour titled “Middle of Everywhere.” New England Sounds was there for the Boston date last night at House of Blues. Sold out far in advance, the performance was delayed by 10+ minutes to ensure no one else was waiting in line. Nostalgia aside, this group still has a very passionate fan base that have grown up with them and have definitely crossed generations. Say what you will about Hanson, but these boys, now men with families of their own have proved their talent and then some to be more than just one hit wonders.
