Editor’s note: We’re just a few weeks away from St. Patrick’s Day, and in Boston, it’s more of a season than a single day. Celtic punk rock band Flogging Molly kicked off the unofficial holiday season on Friday night at House of Blues on Lansdowne St. with a green tinted show to get the city in the spirt. The band are often favorites of local music fans this time of year, alongside Boston’s own Dropkick Murphys perhaps no other bands represent that St. Patrick’s Day sound that will dominate barroom playlists for the new few weeks.
