PHOTOS: Tame Impala, Junglepussy in Boston, MA (03.16.22)
Australian psychedelic rock group Tame Impala, the brainchild of vocalist/songwriter Kevin Parker, have been visiting Boston since 2010, leveling up by a venue each visit. Prior to this month their most recent appearances have come at Boston Calling culminating with a headline set in 2019. With all that on their resume they final leveled all the way up to TD Garden, the city’s largest indoor venue. Fans clad in colorful attire moved about the streets surrounding the Garden as the show drew closer. Once Tame Impala took the stage for a dreamy and colorful set that drew cheers usually reserved for Boston’s sports teams all night, especially during the song “Eventually” which even took Parker by surprise.
