Editor’s note: When we last caught The Front Bottoms in May they were touring to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their landmark album Talon of the Hawk. Widely considered one of the best records of the last decade it was the album that lead them to signing a major label deal with Fueled by Ramen. Since that May show in Connecticut the band has released a brand new album, You Are Who You Hang Out With. The LP is a pretty big stylistic change with the duo adding synths and auto-tune to their sound. No strangers to the New England area, they are one of the few acts who have played in five out of the six New England states in the post-covid era. They even held their annual Champagne Jam in Providence, RI in 2021. For their current run of live dates they’ve expanded to a five piece outfit in order to bring some of their newer songs to life. Last night they kicked off a two night stand at Roadrunner, where Emma Egan was on hand on behalf of New England Sounds, check out her photos below including some of formerly Boston based outfit Vundabar.

The Front Bottoms play Roadrunner again tonight with doors at 7pm and music starting at 8pm. Tickets for that show are available – HERE.
